Choosing The Right Puppy
By choosing the right type of dog for your lifestyle, you can reduce the need for Dog Training services further down the line.
90 minute video call or in-person session (may be subject to mileage charge) with the whole family to discuss circumstances, requirements and hopes for your new puppy. From this we will shortlist the best suitable options and guide you through next steps.
Includes up to 3 hours of additional remote support.
Preparing for Puppy
Waiting for puppy to arrive?
In this 90 minute thorough one to one session we cover everything you need to know about bringing a new puppy home and how to prepare.
We discuss puppy proofing your home, preparing the car for their journey home, setting up sleeping areas, which equipment to buy, recommended reading, vaccinations, legal requirements and much more.

Puppy 1:1
45 minute home visit to work through any “teething” problems. The early days can be challenging. We are there to support you with toilet training, biting, chewing, sleep or anything you need advice about. This session can also be used for foundation training such as wait, down, settle, recall, loose lead walking etc.
Includes 16 page puppy socialisation booklet (for puppies up to 12 weeks)
Foundation Puppy Classes (6-week course)
For vaccinated puppies up to 24 weeks (at date of first session)
In these fun and relaxed classes we introduce your puppy to foundation behaviours such as eye contact, food luring, how to wait and “leave it” . Your puppy will learn how to greet others and we will also do lots of confidence building exercises. The training methods are all game based as, experience tells us, this is how puppy’s learn best. In these classes we cover basic obedience, life skills and socialisation.
Classes are held at Park Hill Recreation Ground in Kidlington, OX5 2DB. Indoor/outdoor.
Once completed, you will be invited to join our follow-on classes where you can work towards achieving levels 1-5 with your dog.
Each puppy receives a goody bag including free lick mat product worth over £10 and a 16-page socialisation booklet to guide you through those early weeks.
You will also gain access to a catalogue of training notes and videos to help you progress at home.
Packages
1:1 Puppy Training Package
If you can’t make classes or just prefer one to one training, this package is for you.
Includes 3 x 45 min sessions at your home where we work on foundation training such as wait, down, settle, recall etc. We can also help with toilet training, managing puppy biting, separation, sleep etc. These sessions can be completely tailored to you and your puppy.
Complete Puppy Package with Classes
This package ensures you are completely covered. It includes:
1 x puppy 1:1 session at your home
1 x 6-week course of puppy classes based at Park Hill Recreational Ground in Kidlington on Mondays at 5pm (FREE Lick mat on arrival!)
1 x 16 page puppy socialisation booklet (for puppies up to 12 weeks)

Are you planning for your new puppy’s arrival? If you can’t make classes or just prefer one to one training, this complete package is for you and includes how to prepare in advance.
This package includes:
1 x Preparing for puppy (90 minute session at your home)

3 x 60 min 1:1 training sessions (at your home or location of your choice)
